On June 10th, Miao Jianmin, Chairman of China Merchants Group, and Shi Dai, General Manager, conducted research at the China Merchants Lion Rock Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in Shenzhen and had discussions and exchanges with representatives of young scientific research backbone. Deng Renjie, Deputy General Manager of the Group, and Zhang Junli, Assistant General Manager, Secretary of the Board of Directors, and Director of the Group Office, participated in relevant activities.

Miao Jianmin and Shi Dai conducted on-site inspections of the hardware research and development of quadruped and dual arm robots, VLA navigation large models, self-developed AI agents, and other achievements in the Lion Rock Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of China Merchants Group. They gained a detailed understanding of the real data collection site and simulation data platform operation of VLA training applications. They were pleased with everyone's hardworking and positive spirit, and affirmed the phased progress made in research and development work. Subsequently, Miao Jianmin presided over a symposium to listen to reports from the Advanced Technology Institute of the Group and the Lion Mountain Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of China Merchants Group, and had in-depth exchanges with seven young research backbone representatives from the laboratory.

Miao Jianmin pointed out that anchoring the digital intelligence technology track and building the Lion Rock Artificial Intelligence Laboratory are strategic levers for the group's technology empowerment of the "third entrepreneurship" and important measures to accelerate the creation of the "two curves".   He emphasized that all laboratory staff should have a strong sense of urgency and crisis, seize the cultivation period of innovative industries, vigorously promote team spirit, scientist spirit, and craftsman spirit, deepen independent innovation of core technologies, promote the coordinated development of research and application, accelerate the transformation of achievements into industries, provide scientific and technological support for the high-quality development of the group, and inject surging momentum into the "third entrepreneurship" of China Merchants Group.

Shi Dai pointed out that artificial intelligence is an important driving force for the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. The employees of Lion Rock Artificial Intelligence Laboratory are full of vitality and passion, and are a group of "dream chasers" who dare to exert themselves, are willing to explore the world, and strive to overcome difficulties. She said that the group will continue to create a good atmosphere, build a good platform carrier, and solve worries, so that laboratory employees and China Merchants Group can pursue their dreams together and go to the stars and the sea.
